Campaign with us to help make childhood unstoppable.

Add your name to hear more about our campaigns and how you can support our work.

Too often, the systems both in the UK and worldwide built to support childhood - education, healthcare, welfare - fall short. They are interrupted by war, the climate crisis, economic uncertainty and global instability. So, whilst every child is born ready, the world is not.

At UNICEF UK, alongside young people, communities, partners, and supporters, we make the world ready. We are campaigning to create lasting change, not just to repair the world but to build a better one.

As a campaigner your support is integral to our work. You help us send a powerful message to the UK Government - that children in the UK and across the world deserve to have their rights and futures protected.

Together we are making childhood unstoppable. For every child.

How UNICEF UK campaigns

For over 75 years, we have campaigned and influenced the UK Government to put children first and secure their rights, but we can't do it alone. You can get involved too by joining us as a campaigner.

When you campaign with us, you join a powerful community of over 80,000 people advocating for children's rights. Whether you sign one of our petitions invite your MP to take part in an event, or write to us to tell us why you care, you're supporting us to call on the UK Government to prioritise children's rights, both within the UK and globally.

Our commitment to you, is that we will ensure that your voice is heard by those in power, making you part of a movement campaigning for meaningful, lasting change for children.

Early Moments Matter

A child's first months and years shape their whole life. Support for early childhood is essential, to give every child in the UK the best possible start in life. Yet years of declining support have led to many babies and toddlers being left behind. All UK Governments need to act to ensure young children can access essential services for their health, development and education, and that families can receive the right financial support to help them meet their children's needs.

Futures at Risk

Decades of progress for children is being undone. Millions of children's lives and futures are at risk. Cuts to the international aid budget will undoubtedly risk lives and mean millions of children not having access to critical helth care, not having enough to eat and missing out on their learning. The UK Governmnet didn't protect children in the last cuts to international aid, they must do so now.

We are calling for the UK Government to spend at least 25% of aid on children - especially on health, nutrition and education programmes that can withstand the changing climate. We know that previous rounds of aid cuts have fallen disproportionaley on children and they systems that help them thrive. If the UK Government does not protect funding for children, we could see them facing issues at a scale that we've never seen before.

Outright

Outright is UNICEF UK's annual campaign for children and young people. It's designed to be delivered in a variety of settings, from schools to youth groups. We provide you with the resources you need to follow an exciting campaign journey.

This year, Ouright will follow a learning journey that will empower children and young people to learn about their rights, by increasing their understanding of international aid and why it is important. It is focused on both education and climate adaptation, and how international aid supports children's rights around the world.
